Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using ValueMeals, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

2. The service

ValueMeals is a browser extension that estimates and compares meal value using information available through Uber Eats. Features may include nearby menu scanning, estimated fees and promotions, portion-based calculations, category filters, and links to matching items.

ValueMeals is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Uber Technologies, Inc. or any restaurant shown in the extension.

3. Estimates and third-party information

All rankings, meal counts, portions, fees, discounts, and effective prices are estimates. Restaurant data can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Taxes, customization charges, membership benefits, account-specific offers, promotion eligibility, delivery fees, and final checkout totals may differ.

You are responsible for reviewing the item, ingredients, quantity, promotion terms, and final total on Uber Eats before ordering. ValueMeals does not provide dietary, allergy, nutritional, financial, or health advice.

4. Third-party services

Your use of Uber Eats, ExtensionPay, Stripe, Google Chrome, and the Chrome Web Store is governed by those services’ own terms and policies. ValueMeals is not responsible for third-party availability, conduct, transactions, refunds, deliveries, products, or security.

5. Free and paid features

ValueMeals may offer both free and Pro features. Current advertised pricing is CA$4.99 per month or CA$39.99 per year. Prices, taxes, and included features will be displayed before purchase and may change for future billing periods where permitted by law and with any notice required by law.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may manage or cancel through the ExtensionPay payment page. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable consumer law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Ownership

ValueMeals, its branding, interface, ranking logic, and original materials are owned by the operator of ValueMeals or its licensors. Third-party names, menu data, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. Third-party website or API changes may interrupt ValueMeals without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ValueMeals is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ValueMeals and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost savings, lost profits, incorrect orders, food quality, allergic reactions, delivery issues, or third-party conduct arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for ValueMeals during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as ValueMeals evolves. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
