1. About ValueMeals

ValueMeals is an independent browser extension that helps users compare meals available through Uber Eats. ValueMeals is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Uber Technologies, Inc. or its affiliates.

2. Information the extension accesses

To provide its core functionality, ValueMeals may access:

• Delivery-location information: the location saved by Uber Eats, such as an address reference and approximate latitude/longitude, so nearby restaurants can be requested.
• Uber Eats session information: session cookies and login-state signals used by your browser to make authenticated requests to Uber Eats on your behalf.
• Restaurant and menu information: names, menu items, prices, promotions, fees, availability, and related data returned for your selected delivery area.
• Extension preferences: selected filters, cached scan results, and payment-entitlement status needed to operate the extension.

3. How information is used

ValueMeals uses this information only to:

• find restaurants and menus for your selected delivery area;
• estimate meal value and rank matching items;
• remember your filter settings and temporarily cache results;
• open a selected result on Uber Eats; and
• verify access to ValueMeals Pro.

ValueMeals does not sell personal information or use Uber Eats session information for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.

4. Storage and retention

Scan results are stored locally in your browser and normally expire after approximately 15 minutes. You can clear the scan cache from the extension. Filter preferences remain stored until changed, cleared, or the extension is removed.

ValueMeals does not maintain its own remote database of your delivery location, Uber Eats session, or menu scans.

5. Service providers and third parties

The extension interacts with the following services:

• Uber Eats: restaurant, menu, location, and ordering functionality is provided by Uber Eats under its own terms and privacy policy.
• ExtensionPay: verifies paid access and provides subscription-management pages. ExtensionPay may process an email address and account identifiers under its own privacy policy.
• Stripe: processes payment details for ExtensionPay. ValueMeals does not receive or store complete card details.
• Google Chrome: provides extension storage, permissions, and distribution through the Chrome Web Store.

6. Browser permissions

• Storage: saves preferences, scan cache, and entitlement state.
• Cookies: reads the Uber Eats location and session signals required for nearby results.
• Scripting and Uber Eats host access: communicates with an open Uber Eats page and opens selected menu items.

Access is limited to what is necessary to provide the extension’s user-facing features.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including local processing and restricted browser permissions, to limit exposure of user data. However, no software or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your choices

You may:

• clear cached scan data from the extension;
• remove the extension to revoke its browser access;
• manage or cancel a Pro subscription through the payment page; or
• contact us with a privacy or deletion request.

9. Children

ValueMeals is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy as the extension changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
